eDNA water sampling kit

There are two variants of our eDNA water sampling kit. Which one you should choose depends on the testing you intend to carry out on the sample. Each kit contains enough materials to collect one eDNA sample from water.

If you intend to carry out testing for fungi or bacteria on the sample then you MUST choose the microbial filter, even if you will also be testing for larger species too. 

If you only intend to carry out testing on non-microbial organisms then please choose the standard filter. 

The kit contains:

• A single sterile eDNA filter with two luer lock caps
• A 3ml syringe containing DNA preservative
• A single pair of nitrile gloves
• A large sterile 50mL syringe for pushing water through the filter. Kits for peristaltic pumps are also available upon request. Please contact us to request one.
